Ms. Laura Davis is a Social Worker with more than eighteen years service in the field of social work. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Master of Science degree in Public Sector Management from the University of West Indies, St Augustine, Campus. Ms. Davis is a certified HIV/AIDS Counsellor, Mediator and Trauma Reduction Counsellor.
As a former president of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Social Workers, Ms. Davis was responsible for drafting proposed legislations for Licensure of Social Workers. She currently holds the position of treasurer of the association. She was a member of the Children Advisory Board during the period 2012-2013.
