Mrs. Kitty Al Hosein-Garcia is a passionate Educator with over thirty-six years’ experience in the field of Education. She has a Master’s in Education with Distinction (Curriculum) and currently holds the position of School Supervisor I at St. George East Education District. Previously she served as the Principal of Montrose Government Primary School, as well as, La Puerta Government Primary School. Her enthusiasm and passion for Education has propelled her to lecture at both the graduate and undergraduate level at the University of the West Indies where she also served as a Research Supervisor.
Mrs. Al Hosein Garcia has also held positions including: Acting Second Vice President of the National Primary Schools Principal Association; Chairman of the fraternity of Principals and a Member of the District Management Team at the Caroni Education District. She possesses a wealth of experience in developing, implementing and monitoring educational programmes at the primary level and also courses at the tertiary level. She is a ‘people’ person and enjoys organising fund-raisers, graduations, sports meetings and cultural and religious events.
