Dr. Natalie Dick

Board Member

Dr. Natalie Dick has a passion to see persons with disabilities, especially the most vulnerable, maltreated, neglected and marginalized, attain their highest God-given potential by accessing the best, most appropriate health, educational and employment opportunities, allowing them life with dignity. She pursued undergraduate medical training at University of the West Indies, followed by USA-based postgraduate training, leading to dual board-certification in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and General Pediatrics. With a patriotic desire to positively impact the health and well-being of the nation’s children, Dr. Dick conducts Child Development Clinics at North Central Regional Health Authority, consults monthly at Scarborough General Hospital, is an Associate Lecturer (UWI Child Health), and provides services via KAIROS Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics, Caribbean Ltd.

As a tireless advocate for children, she’s committed to “Raise the Bar” on the standard of care for children with “special needs”, taking a pioneering lead-role in the establishment of the Child Development and Behavior Unit, a unique multidisciplinary public health system initiative.

Internationally, she functions in the Epilepsy Society of the Caribbean; American Academy of Pediatrics; American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine; the English/Dutch Caribbean Community Based Rehabilitation Network. Nationally, she serves on various state committees related to Disability, Health and Rehabilitation. Her volunteerism encompasses past board memberships at Nation Centre for Persons with Disabilities and Caribbean Kids and Families Families Therapy Organisation and provision of technical support for Victim Support Foundation and their Trinidad and Tobago Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
