Dr. Kirbi Rampersad

Dr Kirbi Rampersad is currently a General Psychiatrist employed with the North West Regional Health Authority with more than seven years of experience in the field of psychiatry. She primarily works at the St Ann’s Hospital but often provides services at the Substance Abuse Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre at Caura Hospital. After completing her medical degree, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Medicine degree in Psychiatry, achieving both at the University of the West Indies.

Dr. Rampersad treats patients with varying degrees of mental health issues including anxiety and trauma-related issues, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality and substance abuse-related disorders. She finds practicing psychiatry to be a truly fulfilling experience because of the impact she is able to make on her patients’ quality of life as well as the meaningful interactions she gets to share with her patients.
